Born and raised in Chicago to a single parent father, Charles Hawkins Jr. aka "Custom Chuck", was a great student athlete. He attended Walter Payton College Prep High School lettering in three sports and graduating with a 4.2 GPA. Charles earned a full athletic football scholarship to The University of Washington after walking onto the team. After graduating with a degree in philosophy Charles played in the NFL AFL and CFL before attending The John Marshall Law School. After finishing his studies to gain his law degree Charles began working in Corporate contracts drafting and negotiating deals.
After a few years working for big firms, Charles went out on his own to start Promiseland Management and Consulting cultivating all the relationships he had developed with athletes and entertainers. Charles moved to Los Angeles where most of his clients were located. Two years after moving to Los Angeles Charles was acting and writing himself switching roles and becoming the talent himself.
