Lucy Nordberg is a writer and producer for film and theatre, and co-founder of the company Moving Pictures Theatre (MPT).
As a writer, Lucy creates epic, engaging work and has a specialty in modern dramatic verse. As well as updating classic writing styles, in production she has an interest in uniting new technology with traditional techniques: alongside conventional filming, MPT has produced work and interactive experiences in immersive 360.
In theatre, Lucy has written plays ranging from cabaret comedy to drama, produced in locations ranging from traditional theatres to nightclubs and the grounds of a castle. The first film by MPT, Time and Tide - a trilogy of short films written and co-produced by Lucy starring Greta Scacchi, John Locke and Samuel West - showed at festivals around the world and won awards including Best UK Short Film at the London Independent Film Festival and Best International Short Film at the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema.
