- Frankie Midnight was born January 27th, 1992 in Miami, FL. Growing up within a mild violent neighborhood of Carol City-Miami Gardens, FL, he started out as a stage actor in various local theater productions including a Miami Dade College production of "A Raisin In The Sun", at age 11. He also performed as a professional impersonator, starring as both Jimi Hendrix and Michael Jackson in the stage production, "The Oldie Goldie Show, a tribute to black music". When he transitioned from acting to music, he took interest in the guitar at age 13. Unable to afford a guitar, he attempted to create one from scraps of an old wooden door and rubber bands which barely worked. He decided to sell candy to his middle school classmates to finance his first official guitar. First learning covers of songs from artists like Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles and others, he began writing and composing his own songs as well as learning other instruments such as the piano, drums, bass guitar, and harmonica.
After writing, composing, and producing three studio albums as well as music for other recording artists within the Miami area, he returned to acting in 2022, supporting in his debut film, "The Poison Garden" as "Doc Williams", an African American man who was sentenced to death under false accusations in 1934, Fort Lauderdale, FL. He also starred as "Duppy" in City Theater's stage production of Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds" the same year in addition to starring as "James Baldwin", "Emmett Till", and "Daddy Cat" in Art Prevails stage production of "The Happening: Theatrical Mixtape Vol 4 - Black Like He". Since his acting return, he has been featured in various commercials including "Home Depot", "Remy Martin Cognac", and "Golden Corral". As of 2023, he has starred in two short films, "Smokeshow", and "Carcosa" created by the University of Miami's film department. He was also cast in the supporting role as "CoCoa" in "The AR Racist", directed by Scott Rosenfeld and is starring in the lead role as "Young Guttah Nutz" in his directorial debut, "Mumble: A Lost Icon", a mockumentary about the rise and fall of a mumble rapper.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Cory Ferguson
