Rick was born on December 2, 1960. Rick was with his high school
girlfriend Joy Major until the Hysteria tour. He had a brief
relationship with stylist Julianna Roberts during that tour. He started
seeing Dara Corcoran in 1990 and married her on November 25, 1993. They
separated in 1995. He filed for a divorce in 1996, but the divorce
wasn't finalized until 2004. In 1996, he met and started seeing Paige
Zelazney-Hannon (then married to someone else), whom he married on
September 27, 2004. They had two sons, Tyler Kenneth (July 5, 2000),
and Scott (December 2001).
Rick suffered a bout of Bell's Palsy in January 1994 but later regained most of the feeling in the right side of his face.
Rick and Joe Elliot are the only remaining founding members of Def Leppard.
