Waking Nightmare begins appropriately enough with Jordan waking up screaming from a nightmare. This has been a regular occurrence since her best friend Jamie killed herself. It’s gotten bad enough that she’s moved back home with her parents Danielle and Jeff.
A visit from her best friend Zoey seems to cheer her up, but that night her nightmares turn into sleepwalking, and while doing that she pulls a knife on her mother. This gets her an appointment with Dr. Doolin who gives her a prescription for Ambien.
The Ambien doesn’t make her start posting racist comments on Twitter, but it doesn’t stop her sleepwalking either. In fact, she ends up walking out of the house...

Aaron Carter’s tragic passing at the age of 34 has put a renewed focus on mental health and addiction. And as it turns out, his final project before his death was focused on similar issues. He wrapped filming on the indie sitcom pilot Group a month ago, according to Deadline. The series was focused on group therapy and mental health advocacy, with Carter playing a version of himself. The writer-director of the project, Brian Farmer, released a statement noting that Carter’s management gave permission for Farmer to move forward and complete the project in honor of the late singer: “I was heartbroken to hear the shocking news about Aaron on Saturday. Aaron was so excited about the show and helping raise awareness for mental health, a topic he was very passionate about. He said being a part of the show gave him something positive to work toward, and I’ll forever cherish that.

A month before Aaron Carter’s sudden death on Saturday, the rapper, singer, actor had wrapped filming on an independent sitcom pilot titled Group. With the blessing of Carter’s management, the filmmakers intend to complete the project in his honor. Currently in post-production, Group will be shopped to networks when finished, and it will be dedicated in Carter’s memory.
