When she was 14, she toured California with a theater group called Teen
Theater in association with Planned Parenthood. The group did original
works about STDs, rape and other cutting edge, provocative issues.
Was directed by Gary Imhoff as the role of Emily in "Our Town" and notes it
as the major turning point in her acting career.
