Big Brother does love a twist, so this Friday three former housemates will be returning to join the 'fake evictee' in a Secret Lair. And goodness, did that spark some conversations at DS Towers about who should return!
Of course, some of our picks have been on Ultimate Big Brother, but we're going to ignore that (we're not sure it's canon when Ulrika Jonsson can be dubbed an 'ultimate' housemate, to be honest). And while there are obviously plenty of amazing contestants from years gone by, we couldn't choose them all. But below are just some of our choices for Friday's big twist - let us know who you want to throw back in!
Nick 'Nasty Nick' Bateman (Big Brother 1)
Series one was something of an untainted golden era for Big Brother. The show was yet to be overrun with perma-tanned attention seekers and was a genuinely fascinating human experiment:...

In a few short hours, one of six housemates will go down in the Big Brother history books as the 15th winner of the show (alright, so it's not like they'll be studied in schools or anything, but it's something, right?). But where will they fit in the record? Will they be a worthy winner, or a disappointment? Will they be looked back on with glee or with grimaces?
That remains to be seen, but in the meantime we have 14 winners to rank. Who is the best? Who is the worst? We're not going to claim this is definitive - we switched our own minds around about 27 times just while compiling our running order - but take to the comments to give us your views. And so, in order from worst to best, here we go...

Fancy watching some poor punter getting a back, sack and crack from Rustie Lee? Want a waxing from Helen Flanagan? Is Arg from Towie delivering pedicures what you've been waiting for all these years? Well, wait no more people. Celebrity Super Spa has arrived.
I've already had the joy of watching episode one of Super Spa. I've seen the awkward and cringeworthy hosts. I've seen Helen Flanagan prancing around without any trousers on. I've seen Rustie Lee cackling. 867 times.
And I'll probably watch it all over again tonight (September 13) when it airs on Channel 5. Firstly, because I'm a glutton for terrible television. Secondly, because I'm fairly convinced it may be the most desperate celebrity reality show ever concieved. Even by Channel 5's late night standards, this is awful. It makes The Bachelor look like The Sopranos.
So where does the show fit in the history of degrading and embarrassing celebrity reality shows?...

It seems that last year's series of Big Brother on Channel 4 may well have been the last ever to be shown on the network, but not the last ever. Channel 5, who were looking at a deal to lay their hands on the show throughout most of last summer have managed to do a deal with Endemol, which means a newly revamped version of the hit reality television series will relaunch on Channel 5 later in the year. During its time on Channel Four, the show turned absolute nobodies into celebrities and launched the careers of the late Jade Goody, Kate Lawler and of course Nasty Nick, who in the first series polarized the viewers and the...

Channel 5 has signed a deal to air Endemol reality show Big Brother later this year, it has been revealed. The hit show, which launched the careers of Jade Goody, Kate Lawler and 'Nasty' Nick Bateman, was dropped by Channel 4 last year after a decade on air and 11 series. The programme also spawned a number of hit spinoffs and sister shows such as Big Brother's Little Brother and Celebrity Big Brother. A full confirmation of the programme's return details is expected to be announced tomorrow. However, according to The Guardian, the deal will apparently last five years and a Celebrity edition is expected to begin in August. A traditional non-celebrity edition will follow in September. Richard Desmond's Channel 5 has been linked to Big Brother (more)...

Jj Bird bet John James Parton that he would wear a ridiculous costume if there was no double eviction on last night’s Big Brother and this morning he was seen parading around in these.
After just Jo Butler was evicted, the sexy boxer realised the error of his ways and conceded to John James that he must now carry out his forfeit. He spent this morning wearing just a skimpy pair of pants, made from garden foliage, though they look far from ridiculous to us.
We don’t imagine these pictures will do his fanbase any harm either…..can you imagine him Not being in the final while looking at them?

Earlier today, Big Brother set the housemates a task called, Dizzy Quiz.
It entailed the housemates spinning around poles – as per Kate Lawler if you recall that hilarious drinking game! – while answering questions about the newcomers.
The housemates were split into three teams; yellow, blue and green, and ultimately, the green team won.
The green team comprised Ife John James and Dave who will all share a meal with the newbies while the rest of the housemates will be locked in the main house.
Will the meal all go smoothly? We’ll let you know!

Big Brother bosses have reportedly offered former housemates just £30 a day to re-enter the house at the end of the summer.
When the current Bb series wraps up in August, producers will introduce former winners and stand out characters from the show, who will stay in the house for two weeks and battle it out for the title of Big Brother’s Ultimate Housemate.
Despite the rubbish pay, Nikki Grahame, 28, Brian Belo, 22, and Mikey Hughes, 35, are all said to be desperate for a second Big Brother stay.
An insider told The Sun: “The producers know how keen some of the ex-housemates are to go back on telly. Some of them will do it for peanuts.
“It’s not about the money for them, it’s about being in the limelight again.”
Thought to have turned down offers to return to the show that made them famous are Kate Lawler, Brian Dowling,...

Katie Price has pulled out of this year’s London Marathon.
Katie released a statement released on her official website, in which she said her doctors have advised her not to run. She was supposed to be running in aid of the blindness charity Vision.
The 31 year old mum of three said: “It is with great regret that I’m going to have to pull out of this year’s Virgin London Marathon.
“Training has been going really well, and I was really looking forward to running again this year to raise as much money as possible for Vision, but I have been advised by doctors I should not compete this year.”
She added: “I wish everyone the best of luck, I know how hard this is so I have nothing but admiration for each and every runner. Hope to see you in 2011.”

Our friends across the pond seem to get out in the lead on most things gay. Civil partnerships. Multiple political parties vying for our love. And out boybanders. They already anted up Stephen Gately of Boyzone, and we called with Lance Bass of N'Sync. Now they've raised us Duncan James, of Blue.
The interview with News of the World comes as Duncan and his group, Blue, prepare a greatest hits reunion tour and album they announced in April. Blue disbanded in 2004, after a three year run that included 11 Top 10 hits, and three #1 songs.

Duncan now joins a growing number of teen idols in European pop that are coming out comfortably as something other than straight. There’s Boyzone’s Gately, Westlife’s Mark Feehily, and Pop Idol winner Will Young, who have all come out as gay.

Last night's Big Brother finale was the least watched to date, according to early ratings figures. The main results show, which saw Rachel Rice crowned the surprise winner, drew an average of 4.71m (23%) for Channel 4 in the 10pm hour. While still huge numbers for the channel, the ratings are the lowest for a Bb finale in its nine series history. Last year's August 31 finale drew 5.3m (29%), which was also a record low at the time and a fall from the 7.5m who watched the 2006 finale. The best-rated Bb finale was the 2002 edition, won by Kate Lawler, with 9.4m. The victory of transexual contestant Nadia Almeida in 2004 also drew huge numbers, with an average audience of 8.3m. Earlier last night, the first live show pulled in 3.85m (16.9%) in the 8pm hour. Timeshifted service Channel 4+1 brought in additional audiences of 376,000 (1.9%) to the 8pm show and 166,000 (more)...
