Marilyn Knapp is an American actress born and raised in in the southwest and now resides in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Since childhood, she wanted to be an actress. She rediscovered her "acting bug" when she was a background actor in True Detective Season 3, Episode 6. Since then, she has done other background work, short film work, including a lead role in the short film "Alone" (2020), several supporting roles and has appeared in multiple commercials. She continues her training.
