An independent filmmaker based in Mumbai. Born in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, I pursued my education across Jhansi, Gwalior, Delhi, and Mandi. My early passion for theatre and performing arts seamlessly transitioned into a love for music and direction. I completed my formal training in dramatic arts at the H.C.R.F. & T.A. affiliated with the National School of Drama, Delhi, where I had the privilege of performing with stalwarts like the late Shri B.V. Karant and Shri Habib Tanvir.
After graduating in 2000, I founded "The Soul Art Theater Academy" in Jhansi, collaborating with notable theater figures such as Alok Chatterji, Devendra Raj Ankur, and Suresh Sharma. In 2002, I relocated to Mumbai and delved into television, working as an Assistant Director on shows like Shhh... Koi Hai, Vikraal and Sanjivni, and Aati Rahengi Baharein, and as an Executive Producer for Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi.
My cinematic journey began with an AD role in Ssshhh... in 2003, followed by a tenure at Code Red Productions from 2004 to 2006, where I contributed to prominent ads for brands like McDonald's, Cadbury, and Pepsi. Since 2006, as an independent filmmaker and casting director, I've worked with over 100 production houses and ad agencies, including Yashraj Films, Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions, and McCann Worldgroup.
I have directed the film Atkan Chatkan, presented by A.R. Rahman and featuring playback by Amitabh Bachchan, and am set to release Terri Diwaani. My portfolio also includes the untitled Hindi feature currently in post-production and several scripts such as Murrgie, Senti Sonu, and Ek Tha Aur Ek Thi.
In essence, I am dedicated to creating revolutionary cinema that bring inspiration and offer new perspectives through the lens.
