Stated of her heritage that her mother "is of Korean descent, but born and raised in Hawaii". She added that her father is "from Hawaii as well, his mother is Native Hawaiian and we don't know who his father is. He was adopted by the Mariano family, which is where my last name comes from".

Has a daughter named Ke'ala Coral Ventimiglia (b. January 23, 2025) with her husband Milo Ventimiglia.
