Graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Communications with a concentration in Media Studies.

Stated of her heritage that her mother "is of Korean descent, but born and raised in Hawaii". She added that her father is "from Hawaii as well, his mother is Native Hawaiian and we don't know who his father is. He was adopted by the Mariano family, which is where my last name comes from".
