We've reached the end of our "Survivor: San Juan del Sur" exit interviews. Natalie Anderson began this "Survivor" season in a defensively position. Not only did she enter the game with a certain reputation from her two seasons on "The Amazing Race" -- "I know we have a lot of Twinny haters. There's no middle. It's either you love us or you hate us," she says -- but sister Nadiya was voted out first by her tribe. That left Natalie with notoriety and without a loved one in the Blood versus Water season. What followed was a "Survivor" run that stood out both for Natalie's sturdy combination game -- She made big strategic moves, performed well in challenges and also found and used an Immunity Idol effectively -- but also for her major image overhaul. Coming into the season facing derision from some CBS reality fans, Natalie ended the season a very popular winner,...

"Survivor San Juan Del Sur" heads into its two-hour finale and one-hour reunion tomorrow night with a final five that will go down in "Survivor" history as, well, a final five. While this season has had some big moves and some particularly satisfying episodes, such as when Drew accidentally orchestrated his own exit by throwing a challenge, it has not been notable for amazing strategy. If anything, the season and its cast might be most notable for how much they wanted to share: giving up rewards to be nice to each other and even ending a challenge in the middle because they'd already decided on its outcome. The final six players actually had a shocking plan for the final three that involved sharing it, basically: Baylor and Jaclyn were going to give up their chances to allow their partners, Baylor's mom Missy and Jaclyn's boyfriend Jon, to make...

Arrivals. Welcome to the start of "Survivor: Seriously Anybody Other Than John Rocker" or, as CBS seems to want to call it, "Survivor: San Juan Del Sur," or "Survivor: Blood vs Water - Newbies Edition." As usual, Jeff Probst arrives via helicopter, scaring the nine pairs of loved ones down on the beaches. Once again, each pair is in isolation, where they've been given flint and told to prepare and enjoy a night together. Jaclyn is Ms Michigan, while Jon played football at Michigan State, but they don't want to be viewed as threatening. And speaking of "threatening," Veteran media-blamer (and current member of the media) John Rocker blames the media for labeling him a bigot, while Julie doesn't want to be judged for her boobs. [Oh yeah! We've got monkeys!] Missy and Baylor are the first to experience my new favorite simian characters. Missy is frequently divorced and Baylor stands behind her, especially...

What happens when you put a controversial baseball player, a Broadway star and a pair of outspoken twins on an island? You get the cast of Survivor: San Juan Del Sur.
The reality show returns for its 29th (!) season next month. After the success of 2013's Blood Vs. Water, the show decided to return to the format, pitting contestants against loved ones to vie for the million-dollar prize. This season, the castaways will compete in San Juan Del Sur, a region on the southwest coast of Nicaragua.
For the first time in the show's history, there will be an uneven number of men vs.

On Monday, Nick Lachey participated in a Reddit Ama online Q&A series. The new Big Morning Buzz Live host had fun serving up answers to fans hungry with questions about everything from 98 Degrees to his wife Vanessa. What’s his ideal day in Cincinnati, Ohio? Well first you must be asking yourself why Cincinnati but that’s why you have to read through to find out!
1. Nick is a Pie Man…
When asked if he preferred cake or pie, Nick told the user that he’s “more of a pie man. Pumpkin, sweet potato, apple, cherry being some of my favorites.”
2. Nick Wants To Be Reds Player Joey Votto for a Day…
“If you could switch places with someone else for 1 day who would it be and what would you do,” QueenPoser asked. Always an interesting question.
Nick told the user that he would switch places with Joey Votto of the Cincinnati Reds.

At ABC‘s upfront, there were a few things that the network wanted to make sure you knew. 1) They are really impressed with the idea that people are going to watch Rebel Wilson do just about anything, and 2) There isn’t anything they’re happier about than bringing you more episodes of television created by Shonda Rhimes.
On these notes, the network would love for you to know that more Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal are coming your way. These, ABC would like to impress upon you (as advertisers) are really good shows. Because… hellllooo… so many people watch them that we’re bringing them back. But wait, don’t think that you’re as excited as you can get yet, because if those are your favorite shows, then we have a new one for you to fall in love with, Betrayal.
Also on the agenda, and actually looking like they might be interesting,...

...aaaand the new MSNBC primetime host is Chris Hayes. I'll admit, I've mixed feelings about the development. I'm not thrilled about giving up Hayes' weekend show, Up, but I do love the idea of combining Hayes with Rachel Maddow. The combination of Hayes and Maddow as the majority of MSNBC's prime time slot could end up making a strong argument that it is possible for cable news to offer programming that's informative, instead of the ridiculous gimmicks, opinionated bluster and scandal-chasing that's found too often elsewhere.
One of the things I enjoy about Up with Chris Hayes is that Hayes uses the forum to function as an example of what other shows could accomplish if they cared, like the way Up is much more diverse than other Sunday shows.

In case you needed a reason to cry this morning, check out this story from the Beekman website about a gay 12-year-old boy, Colin, whose mom wrote to Josh and Brent to tell them how inspiring it was for Colin to watch them compete on The Amazing Race every week. In response, Josh and Brent organized their fellow Racers to take pictures with a sign declaring their support for Colin.
Deadline reports on some programming moves at TV Land. The Soul Man and The Exes have been renewed for a second and third season, respectively, while Retired at 35 has been mercifully cancelled.

Casting has begun for someone to play Wonder Woman in the CW pilot Amazon (with a script written by faboo Young Avengers creator Allan Heinberg) and Deadline has the breakdown on the iconic heroine. I'm continuing to feel optimistic about this adaptation, even if the heroine is named Iris (Iris?) and her background doesn't exactly sound like Themyscira.
Did anyone watch and enjoy Call the Midwife? I don't mean that sarcastically, I never had the time to check it out. For you fans, the BBC announced there's a second season and a Christmas special in the works.
CNN has named former NBC chief Jeff Zucker — who's largely remembered as the man who took NBC from Friends to The Jay Leno Show — as president of the troubled news channel. The development has inspired speculation and suggestions on how...

On a random December night in 2001, I stumbled across the finale of the very first The Amazing Race and was immediately hooked. This week’s episode, "This Is Gonna Be A Fine Mess," returned to one of the coolest places visited in that first season: Phuket, Thailand.
Many things about the race have changed since that first season. There’s usually only one Fast Forward per season now vs. one every week back then. U-Turns, Express Passes and Speed Bumps would not be created for several seasons.
Far more has changed for Phuket, Thailand. As mentioned on the show, the deadly tsunami that ravaged Thailand in 2004 devastated Phuket and much of the tourist places in Thailand. For a country that relies so heavily on tourism, the impact was greater than it would have been in many other areas of the world.
Only seven years have passed since the tsunami and...

Tina Fey's NBC series "30 Rock" took home its third trophy for best comedy, but the star/writer/executive producer said that having more nominees in the category this year made for "a more surprising and exciting night." She also refused to believe the Web chatter that her show was the front-runner: "The Internet is always wrong." Meanwhile, she said her dream guest star is Meryl Streep, who could play a love interest for Alec Baldwin's Jack Donaghy. Remembering that the two are doing just that in the upcoming film "It's Complicated," Fey changed her mind, saying Streep maybe could play Grizz Chapman's love interest. But Fey added: "We've been lucky to have so many guest stars, but this year we're really trying to focus on the (regular group of) characters."

It's The Best.Gay.Week.Ever! But In Designer Clothes!
Oh, the irony of having me write a fashion-themed Bgwe! Why so ironic? How about because it's 5 Pm and I'm currently wearing Target slippers, Target lounge pants and a ratty sweathshirt. Did I mention these are my good clothes?

Why the sudden interest in fashion? Well, there was Fashion Week having taken place last week in New York and the Oscars in L.A. on Sunday, but I was really inspired by last week's episode of Ugly Betty which ended with Betty finally "getting" that fashion isn't just about expensive clothes but is actually "art" and about taking what's on the inside emotionally, spiritually, etc. and putting it on the outside.
I guess she's feeling wing-y on the inside?
I found that an interesting way to look at fashion and thusly...
