- Producer
Bryon Michael Chagnon is an American actor of Cuban and French descent based out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Chagnon's upbringing was not unlike the rest of the world. He was born into the working class, his father a carpenter and mother a legal assistant. From an early age he was already a dreamer and had a passion for theatrics. This passion would see him through his early school years performing in any theater renditions he could. Life has a way of changing directions and the opportunity for more advanced and in-depth exploration of the craft became a fleeting unavailability. Chagnon moved to Miami, FL.
It wasn't until he was onset of an episode of USA Network's Burn Notice, that his interest was reignited. Director Tim Matheson saw him and asked him to act as a bouncer in a scene along side actor Andrew Bryniarski to which Chagnon's reply was, "that's what I do for a living." Matheson's reply, "Well, come and do your job." Thus the acting bug had sunk its teeth in once more. He went on to be an extra in a later episode of Burn Notice with Michael Rooker as the antagonist.
Bryon is also active in the community through his affiliation with the global organization The Bearded Villains. With chapters all over the world, these men are able to give back to their communities whether through fund-raising, feeding the poor, helping scholastic institutions, etc.
Bryon M. Chagnon is working on several projects. Apollyon: The Black Awakening and a possible TV series focused on human trafficking. Bryon Michael embraces his characters and loves the process. Any time in front of the camera just sharpens his tools of the trade that much more.
