“Saturday Night Live” premiered October 11, 1975 on NBC with a group of fresh-faced cast members known as the “Not Ready For Prime-Time Players.” None of those original stars lasted for more than five seasons, but they all made their mark on the late night sketch series that is still going strong five decades later.

Over the past 50 seasons (and counting), who are “SNL’s” longest-running cast members ever? Kenan Thompson currently holds the record at a whopping 22 seasons. His closest competition is Darrell Hammond, who starred for 14 seasons before leaving and then returning as the show’s announcer. Bobby Moynihan is taking to new parenthood like a drunk uncle to bad jokes.

The Saturday Night Live alum sat down for a chat with People Now about his life as a first-time dad — to a baby girl his wife Brynn O’Malley gave birth to in July.

“I was much more terrified leading up to it, but it’s not as scary as I thought it would be,” says the actor and comedian, 40, who announced his daughter on the way in June with an adorable Wonder Woman-themed tribute.

You can get a double dose of Bobby Moynihan this week with the Jan. 18 return of Saturday Night Live (host and musical guest Drake) and Monday night’s premiere of Chozen, the new animated FX comedy in which he voices the titular gay white ex-con rapper. Bobby Moynihan, the driving force behind the new animated gay-rapper comedy Chozen, comes by his hip-hop influences honestly. "I grew up listening to a lot of Snoop Dogg and the Wu-Tang Clan," he says. "Actually, I was a huge Wu-Tang fan." The SNL star, 36, voices the namesake protagonist, a gay, thuggish Mc who emerges from prison to plot a return to the game – and revenge on the thug who sent him there (Phantasm, voiced by the Wu's Method Man). "To get to work with him was just insane," adds Moynihan.
