Mumbai, April 30 (Ians) Wrapping up the first schedule of her upcoming film ‘Rainbow’, actress Rashmika Mandanna said the reason she went missing for a while was because she was in a “no network area”.

Rashmika took to Instagram and shared a couple of BTS pictures and videos from the film sets.

The pictures feature a selfie with Dev Mohan, shoot location, time spent with her mother and sister.

Mumbai, April 6 (Ians) The second trailer of the upcoming film ‘Shaakuntalam’ was unveiled here on Thursday. The trailer, which is 1 minute and 34 seconds in length, promises a visual treat and features Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Dev Mohan.

The film tells the story of epic love story of Shakuntala and King Dushyant from Mahabharata, portrayed by Samantha and Dev Mohan.

The film is based on Kalidasa’s Sanskrit play ‘Abhijnana Shakuntalam’.

The film has been written and directed by Gunasekhar and presented by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations in collaboration with Gunaa Teamworks.

Mumbai, March 27 (Ians) Actress Samantha Prabhu, who sizzled the screens with her performance with ‘Oo Antava’ in ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, has talked about dating in her recent tweet.

A fan on the micro-blogging website shared an edited picture of Samantha and asked “I know it’s not my place to say, but plz date someone @Samanthaprabhu2.”

To which Samantha, who was married to actor Naga Chaitanya, replied: “Who will love me like you do.”

It was in 2021 when Samantha and Chaitanya announced their separation.

Chennai, Feb 14 (Ians) Samantha Ruth Prabhu climbed 600 steps of the Palani Murugan temple in Tamil Nadu on February 13 draped in an all-white churidar-kurta and offered prayers at the temple.

She also lit a camphor diya and tweeted on the same. She was accompanied by her ‘Jaanu’ movie director C. Premkumar and other friends.

The actor, who suffers from Myositis, an autoimmune disease condition that causes acute muscular pain, has started shooting for the web series ‘Citadel’ in which she shares screen space with Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan.

‘Citadel’ is the Indian version of the international sci-fi action web series of the same name created by the Russo Brothers. In the international series, Priyanka Chopra plays the lead.

The Indian web series is directed by the director duo Raj and Dk, who had helmed the popular web series, ‘The Family Man’, in which Samantha played the role of Raji, a Sri Lankan Tamil militant.

He was on the sets of a film when his health took a turn for the worse. He was admitted at the Kg Hospital in Coimbatore. Shanavas is in his 40s. He is currently on ventilator support and the family has to take a call if they want him to remain so. There has been no improvement in Shanavas's health since he was admitted on Saturday night at the Internal Care Unit, said a source at the hospital. Cardiogenic shock stops the heart from being able to pump enough blood needed for the body. It mostly follows a heart attack. Shanavas was shooting a film in Palakkad's Attapadi, when he suffered the heart attack.

He is in the ICU and is not stable now. Doctors are monitoring him,” Gandhirajan said. It's not that such a story has not been told before but that it is being told now. Forbidden love, after all, has been a favourite theme with storytellers, and Sufiyum Sujatayum tells one such story.  The film, which has the quality of a fairytale to it, revolves around a mute Namboothiri woman and a Sufi saint. There is a husband in the equation -- Jayasurya's Rajeevan, who is tired of his wife's obsession with the man she never gave up loving. So, when he gets a chance to bring her some closure, he takes the leap.  I found myself thinking about Mouna Ragam's Divya stubbornly refusing to engage with her newlywed husband...
