- Birth nameJames Basul Noble III
- James is a screen actor, stage performer, and novice music producer. He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, to restaurateurs Jim and Karen Noble, the youngest of three children. With his eldest, a surgeon, and middle sister practicing law, James had clear evidence that an excellent career aligned with his passion was worthy of pursuit. Growing up in the theater naturally commenced his passion for acting, which became his childhood dream. Staying involved in the art throughout grade school and consistently being validated by family and peers, James always considered-and even expected at times-that screen or stage acting would become his profession.
However, around his sophomore year of high school, he opted for baseball and preferred debate over theater as an elective. James attended the College of Charleston four years later, dropping out as a sophomore a year after with thoughts of an eventual transfer to a film or art school. Fortunately, he found the education he felt necessary studying under Lon Bumgarner and Marilyn Carter at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, GA, for screen acting in 2018, and he still frequents Bumgarner's studio class weekly. Under such revered training, he has honed a solid technique, built a formidable resume, and capitalized on his inherent talents, such as improvisation, comedic timing, vocal range, and God-given charisma.
James still resides in Atlanta, acting in smaller productions, and frequently performs theatre internationally. Most recently, in 2023, Danny Zuko in Grease hosted in Istanbul, TR, and Athens, GRC.
He is best known for his role as Carl, the cashier in Grant Lafferty and Justin Robinson's short film A Man Departed, and his role as Kenny, the analyst in the Torri Tillman feature film Caged.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Kelly Grace Gorman
