Ahead of the release of his animated Lego biopic “Piece by Piece” with Focus Features, Pharrell Williams was the star guest at a special event held by Lego in Paris, where the multi-hyphenate took to the stage to discuss his growing collaboration with the company.
Alongside the film, which is directed by Morgan Neville and recently screened at Telluride and Toronto to reviews praising its originality, Williams has teamed with Lego on a new toy set, which features a black-and-gold rocket ship with a vibrant jet stream of colors.
The new set, titled “Over the Moon,” was on display at the cosmic-themed event, held at Espace Niemeyer, the iconic Oscar Niemeyer-designed former headquarters of the French Communist Party. The event was attended by an array of local creatives — of which Williams is now one, having recently moved to Paris to take up his position as Louis Vuitton’s men...

If Coachella stages were categorized as internet slang, last week, Heineken House was the Iykyk (If you know, you know) of the nation’s most prominent music festival. Tucked away in the corner of the Empire Polo Club grounds on the festival’s opening weekend, Heineken set up the perfect oasis to bop your head, sip a lager, and take a beat to lounge in the grass while getting away from the crowds — until, of course, the crowds caught word and made their way inside.

Talented DJ and producer Almud gives Minelli and Sickotoy’s ‘Think About U’ a techno remake that will tantalize your senses, out via Global Records on 7th April 2023!
Originally, ‘Think About U’ is a catchy dance-pop love letter, drawing on fragments of deep house and electro; Almud’s techno remix sees the original stripped back, dark and groovy. The intimate remix layers flourishing synths across Minelli’s angelic vocals as a deep house-influenced bouncing bassline ripples throughout the track. Almud’s version of ‘Think About U’ tantalizes the senses through its pulsating bass, atonal bleeps, and percussive goodness.
‘Think About U’ is the synergy of both Minelli and Sickotoy’s musical talents, which has seen streams soar over 800,000 on Spotify alone. A veritable songwriting and production machine, her singles “Rampampam” & “Nothing Hurts” dominated the music charts globally; cumulating over 185 million streams and more than 350 million views. This time she collaborated with Grammy award-winning producer,...

Madonna is collecting her favorite club remixes, as well as some previously unreleased tracks, for a massive new collection, Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones, set to arrive Aug. 19.
The new collection was inspired by Madonna’s Feb. 2020 achievement of notching her 50th Number One on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart with “I Don’t Search I Find.” In doing so, Madonna not only became the first artist to earn at least one Number One song on the Dance Club Songs chart in five separate decades (the Eighties through the...

Deadmau5 may have won the battle, but it looks like Paris Hilton won the war -- because the heiress scored an award in Monte Carlo for spinning ... and it was presented by a legendary DJ.Paris won "Women's Newcomer of the Year" Wednesday at the Nrj DJ Awards ... and Bob Sinclar handed her the honorary statue. It may not be the Grammy's ... but with winners like Avicii, David Guetta and Steve Aoki -- it's pretty impressive.

On an otherwise hot and sunny Memorial Day weekend in Las Vegas, an abnormal cold front made its way into the mix, leaving Tao Beach party-goers to seek shelter in their cabanas. Chilly, half naked bodies snuggled up under towels leaving the super posh party spot looking more like a ski lodge than one of the hottest poolside destinations in Sin City.
It was uncertain where the day would go from there but those in attendance were eagerly awaiting the upcoming set by Dragan Roganović, better known by his DJ moniker Dirty South. In a seemingly divine act straight from the pages of the biblical texts, the moment Dirty South hit the decks, the clouds parted, the wind subsided and the sun finally came out. Over the next two hours, Dragan’s killer set heated the bikini-clad crowd up to a proper Las Vegas temperature.

Martin Solveig
Martin Solveig may very well be one of the greatest athletes in dance music. And if you were one of the more than 22 million people who viewed his music video for "Hello" on YouTube — you know, the one where Solveig comes all the way back from a 6-love, 6-love deficit against fellow Frenchman Bob Sinclar, only to throw the tennis match due to a broken heart — then you know exactly why. And now Solveig has released his latest homage to sports with his video for "Ready 2 Go," which premiered Friday (April 15).
"We are shooting the video and episode for this at Stade de France," Solveig told MTV News at Miami's Ultra Music Festival last month. The track features the vocals of Bloc Party's Kele Okereke, which keeps the overall feel...

Another day and yet another pool party — this time I headed over to the Surfcomber, where I made it into the DJ booth to escape the sea of fake boobs and sweaty dudes. If you weren't at Ultra, this is where you had to be — Kaskade, Luciano, Pete Tong, Afrojack, Sharam, Felix da Housecat, James Zabiela and I'm sure others showed up to hang and spin, but I quickly wore out my welcome in the booth.

You’d expect club czar Bob Sinclar to be a spoilt brat. But just like his beats, the French lad amazes you with every single word he drops. “No alcohol for me. Even when I was 18 and started playing at clubs where my friends would drink themselves silly, I used to stay away from alcohol. Music is my drug,” he said with a smile. Sinclar, who brought the house down at Saket’s Hard Rock Café last night, says he’d been longing to spin in India. “India was on my mind for the last 4 years. It’s great to be here now ...
