Biography

Timothy "PJ" Barner is an international actor based in upstate New York with nearly 20 years of acting experience.

Born and raised in Davao City, Philippines, PJ began his long acting career in 2nd grade as the lead role in the all-school musical "Sermon on the Mound" (2004). Shortly after moving to New York for college, PJ performed Off-Off-Broadway through Alliance University's musical theatre program, delighting NYC audiences in sold-out performances of "West Side Story" (2016) and "In the Heights" (2017). Immediately upon transferring to SUNY Albany, he was cast as the Jesus understudy in "Godspell" (2018) and was in the original cast of the world premiere of "Love and Other Destinations" (2020), a virtual musical. He graduated from UAlbany with a degree in Human Development Counseling Psychology.
