Hallmark Mystery is going into full-time Miracles Of Christmas mode. The network has announced its 2024 schedule that includes nine holiday movies. Each movie will premiere on Thursday nights, with the exception of Thanksgiving week, when Christmas Under The Lights will premiere on Wednesday.

According to Variety, there will be a total of 47 movies this year between the three platforms, Hallmark Channel’s Countdown To Christmas, Hallmark Mystery’s Miracles Of Christmas, and Hallmark+.

The network’s annual “Countdown to Christmas” lineup has been organized, with 47 all-new original movies across the Hallmark Channel, streamer Hallmark+’s “The Very Merry Holiday Collection” and Hallmark Mystery’s “Miracles of Christmas”.

The 15th iteration of the Hallmark Channel’s festive slate kicks off on October 18 on the Hallmark Channel with all-new movies every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m. on the Hallmark channel and Thursdays at 8 p.m. on Hallmark Mystery, with a Wednesday 8 p.m. launch Thanksgiving week. ‘The Love Club: Nicole’s Pen Pal’ premieres March 4 on Hallmark Channel

Interior designer Nicole (Brittany Bristow) is newly engaged. But she can’t shake the feeling that her mystery college pen pal might have been the one for her. Unsure about her future, Nicole seeks out the help of The Love Club, four women who met 10 years earlier and vowed to always be there for each other if they ever had any relationship problems.

Nicole and the rest of The Love Club reunite and set about tracking down her old pen pal. Their search sends them on a journey to a mountain lodge where the letters eventually lead Nicole to her true love.

With “When Calls the Heart” at Hallmark and “When Hope Calls” at Great American Family, Brian Bird is expanding his success with a partnership with UPtv. True Brand Entertainment, founded by Bird, Brandon Clark, Tai Truesdell and Darin Chavez, and the network have a multi-picture licensing agreement, creating a series of uplifting and values-friendly romantic comedies.

The partnership began with “The Engagement Plot,” starring Trevor Donovan and Rachel Boston, which debuted in summer 2022 to record-breaking ratings for UPtv and its streaming service, Up Faith & Family. “The Happy Camper,” starring real-life married couple Daniela Bobadilla and Beau Wirick, premiered to strong ratings on February 5.

The third film in the deal, “Just Jake” starring Brittany Bristow and Rob Mayes, is currently in post-production and is set to debut later this year. All three movies are directed by Clark and produced by Bird, Clark, Truesdell and Chavez. Additional films in the slate are currently in development.

It is. It is. Yeah. It's been a really fun one to share with people. I'm really excited for everyone to see it. And it was such an honor to be able to work with my mom and my dad on this one.

And you've worked with them before, but isn't this your first lead role on a movie that you worked with them?

Yeah, it is. I've done a couple of these movies with them now, but this was...

For moviegoers accustomed to stoner-dude protagonists, “The Marijuana Conspiracy” offers a nice change. The Canadian drama, set in 1972, is full of Mary Janes. Okay, really just one Mary and one Jane. But they’re joined by other young women who answer a call to participate in a research project. For 98 days, Mary, Janice, Jane, Mourinda and Marissa will be able — more like required — to smoke dope. And they get to imbibe without fear of the fuzz.

Writer-director Craig Pryce adapted the true story of research the Addiction Research Foundation undertook when Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau began considering the decriminalization of recreational cannabis. (Hint: They were not for it.) It was dubbed “Project Marijuana,” but Pryce has renamed it the friskier sounding “Project Venus.”

Hallmark Channel is facing criticism on multiple fronts over an advertisement featuring a lesbian couple on their wedding day.

The ad is for Zola.com, a wedding planning and registry company, and shows two women exchanging vows and later kissing to celebrate their nuptials. It was one of six commercials for the website that Hallmark began airing on December 2.

Conservative group One Million Moms took aim at Hallmark for airing the ad, which it said was not “family friendly.” The group launched a petition earlier this week, pressing the cable network to pull the commercial and other Lgbtq content.

“Recently, One Million Moms received concerns about Hallmark airing a commercial from Zola.com in which two lesbians are shown kissing at the end of their wedding ceremony,” the group said on its website. “Parents need to know they...

For several years now, Brittany Bristow has been building her resume with a slew of made-for-tv movies for Hallmark.

She's always been in a supporting role, adding story for the leads by way of a friend or sister but always as some sort of confidant helping the main characters to become better people.

‘Tis the season!

Hallmark announced its 2019 holiday movie lineup on Wednesday — and it’s packed with romance, family reunions and all the wintery goodness imaginable.

The special 10th anniversary edition of the top-rated programming event, Countdown to Christmas, begins in October on the Hallmark Channel and encompasses 24 new, original holiday movies. Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Miracles of Christmas will also premiere 16 new films.

A total of 40 films will premiere on both networks in 2019, starring everyone from Kristin Chenoweth to Kathie Lee Gifford to Lacey Chabert.
