You know Chef Aarón Sánchez from his many appearances on cooking shows, including Chopped, Chefs vs. City, and Next Iron Chef.
Chef Sánchez also acts as a co-host and judge on Fox's MasterChef, which is in the midst of its 13th season. He's an award-winning chef with a successful restaurant, Johnny Sánchez, in Louisiana and a philanthropist with the Aarón Sánchez Impact Fund, which uplifts Latino youth through food.
With MasterChef Season 13 in full swing, we hopped on Zoom to chat with Chef Sánchez to talk about what's new this season and experience some of his joy in connection with food (his hands do the talking!). Mentoring sets MasterChef apart from its competitors.
MasterChef remains unique in its field.
With 12 Seasons of MasterChef behind us, what makes it unique in a continually growing cooking competition field?

I’m a huge fan of martial arts flicks, be they traditional wuxia titles or modern Mma-inspired b-movies, my DVD shelves are pretty much weighed down by fight flick after fight flick. Despite the lack of shelf space that is currently upon me, the chance to check out and add a new kick-ass film to my collection can never be passed up. So when I spotted Submission on the shelves of my local Asda I knew I had to have it. It also didn’t hurt that the film is littered with a cast of familiar names and faces, including Ernie Reyes Jr., who starred in a couple of my childhood favourites: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 and Surf Ninjas.

Tonight marks the final original episode of MADtv, at least on Fox. The network cancelled the show last December after 14 years on the air but that doesn't mean that the troupe is leaving gracefully.
The oft-ignored late-night comedy show has been a staple of some Saturday night rituals for nearly a generation. Current cast members include Crista Flanagan, Keegan-Michael Key, Bobby Lee, Arden Myrin, Nicole Parker, Johnny Sanchez, Erica Ash, Eric Price, Lauren Pritchard, and Matt Braunger.
This evening's swan song brings back alumni Alex Borstein, Mo Collins, Will Sasso, and Debra Wilson Skelton, and also features comic actor Fred Willard and stand-up comedian Artie Lang. In the spoof of American Idol's fundraising efforts, Willard hosts a telethon called "MADtv Gives Back."
Executive producer David Salzman tells the Daily News, "We tried to come up with a finale that is in keeping with MADtv's irreverent and un-self-serving way of doing things.

With the long-running pop culture parody show set to end on May 16th, the jokers over at MADtv are going all out to make the final episodes worthy of the show's 14 year history.
As you may recall, Fox announced that they were pulling the plug on the sketch-comedy series back in November. The timing of the news gave the cast and crew time to craft some final episodes. The current cast includes Erica Ash, Matt Braunger, Crista Flanagan, Keegan-Michael Key, Bobby Lee, Arden Myrin, Nicole Parker, Eric Price, Lauren Pritchard, and Johnny Sanchez.
Heading in to the finale, upcoming episodes are looking back on some of MADtv's crazier sketches and moments.
Tonight's episode will spotlight the popular Coach Hines (Keegan-Michael Key) character as he bids farewell to his favorite punching bag students, Yamanashi (Lee) and Jericho (Braunger). Also, Lee once again tries to win the heart of fellow player Flanagan.
