Marco A. Calderon

Marco Antonio Calderon is a Costa Rican actor/writer who began his acting journey in 2016, motivated by a personal desire to lead by example for his soon-to-be-born child. Upon learning he would become a father, Marco decided to pursue his long-held dream of acting, driven by the belief that one should never abandon their passions.

Since then, Marco has appeared in a variety of commercials, short films, TV Mini Series and feature films steadily building a reputation as a dedicated and versatile actor. He portrayed anger management counselor Dr. H in the feature film Love Incidental (2021). In 2023, Marco lead the Christmas episode Aster of the episodic TV Mini Series Revive: Portraits of Redemption. He brought life to Blaine, a no-nonsense, fast-talking businessman whose life gets turned upside down when he meets an in-labor Raven and has to take her to the hospital on Christmas Eve.

In 2023, he achieved a major career milestone, landing his first feature film leading role in the Costa Rican production La Raiz Del Mal (2024). With each role, Marco brings an authenticity and passion that reflect his commitment to the craft and the inspiring path that led him to pursue it.
