Michael J. Worden is an award winning true crime author, historical researcher and author, historian and paranormal researcher and investigator with over 20 years of experience in the field. His 2022 book, Lynched by a Mob, a true crime genre focusing on the 1892 lynching of Robert Lewis in Port Jervis, NY, was awarded gold medals in the 2023 Independent Publisher Book Awards and the 2023 Next Generation Book Awards.
Some notable paranormal investigations include Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, PA, the Lizzy Borden House in Fall River, MA, and Gettysburg Battlefield, in additions to many other investigations of museums, private homes, hotels, and historic places. He is the author of the 2009 book "Ghost Detective." Michael has developed a strong reputation for honesty and integrity in the field, and takes a very unique approach to paranormal investigations.
Michael retired after 22 years of distinguished law enforcement service a a police officer. He has has served as a patrol officer, detective and sergeant.
