Anthony Welch is an award winning American Actor, Writer, Producer, born and raised in NYC. Theater trained at The Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York City, Anthony has appeared in numerous theater and film productions. Anthony lived in Los Angeles from 1990-1995, where he appeared in The Jones Boy at The Third Street Theater, for which he won a L.A. Drama-Logue Critics Award for Best Ensemble Performance as The Trick. Anthony also appeared in the Cult Film Classic, "Life Among The Cannibals", where he played Detective Charlie alongside Kieran Mulroney. Anthony left the industry for 17 years to have and raise a family, which accounts for the gap in his work. However, Anthony has returned to an industry he has always loved and is currently working on a project he created, wrote, Executive Produced and Co-Stars in titled "Street Smart", where he plays retired NYPD Detective Joey McGloin. Anthony was also cast in the Martin Scorsese film, The Irishman, as a Prison Guard that personally escorts Jimmy Hoffa, (Played by Al Pacino) out of the prison upon his release. The Irishman is scheduled to be released in 2019. Anthony resides in NYC.
