Matteo Scattaretico

Matteo Scattaretico was born in Rome on the 31st of March 2000.
He spends his childhood in the Appio Latino neighbourhood, then his family moves to the Balduina zone in Rome. Since he was a kid he desires to become an actor and a professional athlete.
His determination pushes him to become a professional swimmer when he's only 11 years old and at 12 he becomes a member of the swimming team "Aurelia Nuoto".
When he's 15 years old he begins to study acting under the guidance of Tiziana Sensi.
In 2016 he acts in the Theatre in schools projects, at the Sant'Orsola Institute, where he debuts in the production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream", playing Lisandro and then in the play "Declinazioni d'amore" directed by Tiziana Sensi.
In 2018 he graduates from Seneca high school in Rome and he enrolls to the Economy and Managment BA at RomaTre Uni. After attending for a while with good marks, he decides to fully dedicates himself to acting and to share his passion with the teenagers of Valle Aurealia, guiding them in a free theatre course.
He played Lorenzo in the Rai tv series "Mental" in 2019, directed by Michele Vannuccia. He also starred in the short movies "L'ombra nuvolosa" and "Figli della lupa", directed by R.I.F.S. students and in 2021 he acts in "Caracalla" directed by Luca di Capua.
In 2021 enters the main cast of the tv series PRSIMA, directed by Ludovico Bessegato and produced by Amazon Studios and Cross Productions. In this productuion he plays a role that allows him to channel his passions for acting, swimming and music.
As a matter of fact, Matteo records music scores and bases since 2019. His first single "Laooconte", written, sang and produced by him.
