Stars: Marlon Wayans, Bresha Webb, Michael Ian Black, Glynn Turman, Debbi Morgan, Molly Shannon, Grace Junot, Robert Pralgo | Written by Rick Alvarez, Mike Glock, Marlon Wayans | Directed by Michael Tiddes
Sextuplets, directed by Michael Tiddes, stars Marlon Wayans as not one but six characters in a Peter Seller’s/Eddie Murphy inspired comedy. A feature that not surprisingly plays out more like the Nutty Professor than Dr Strangelove but is nothing like the disaster you would imagine. Sextuplets follows Alan, who is inspired by his pregnant wife, to track down his real family after her Judge father uncovers his original birth certificate. In his efforts, Alan discovers one sibling after another, more absurd and distinctive as time goes on.
Say what you will about Wayans as a performer. However, he and his entertainer family have created an empire of cinematic/television ventures that have shaped a highly successful level of entertainment for audiences.

Saban Films has unveiled an official Us trailer for an indie war drama titled The Yellow Birds, which first premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last year (not this year). This is the second film from director Alexandre Moors, who last made the acclaimed Blue Caprice. The film follows Brandon Bartle, played by Alden Ehrenreich, and the difficulties he faces in keeping his humanity, his urge to survive and his friend Murph, played by Tye Sheridan, alive during the war in Iraq, as well as his life and struggles with his memories of the war after he comes back to Virginia. The cast includes Jennifer Aniston, Toni Collette, Jason Patric, Jack Huston, Lee Tergesen, and Robert Pralgo. Yet another one of these Iraq war films about how bad it is. This looks intense and very emotional. Here's the first official trailer...

When I put on this badge, I don't give a rat's toosh who you are.
Oh good, warmed over horror tropes. Attack of the Morningside Monster (2014)--née The Morningside Monster--from director Chris Ethridge brings semi-supernatural horror to the Garden State when the local sheriff (Robert Pralgo) has to sort out a spate of local murder/mutilations happening in his sleepy burgh. It all started with this one small-time drug dealer chained to a table. He was a bit bemused, as you'd imagine, and then some masked weirdo comes in and starts cutting into him with a multi-tool when he should be using a circular saw. It's so annoying when people aren't using the right tools. But I suppose you go to war with the weapons you have lying around, you know like this Central American ritual mask. That mask was ridiculous.

Intense music drama Whiplash, already a big winner at Sundance and the Deauville American Film Festival earlier this year, should drum up plenty of audience interest in its debut this weekend, even though it faces a crowded specialty market that also features several other notable newcomers, including the Bill Murray comedy St. Vincent, Hilary Swank‘s You’re Not You and Jeremy Renner‘s Kill the Messenger. All are what I’d call “big” specialty releases, with big names attached that should attract big attention.
The weekend also includes what I’d call some “small” releases, including documentaries The Overnighters (another Sundance winner) and I Am Ali, about the former heavyweight boxing champion, alongside the Mormon Church-backed Meet the Mormons. All will be clawing for attention in a market that’s seen more than 30 films debut in the past three weeks.
That said, Whiplash should be a real career turner...

If you reside in the Us then you're in luck because Marcus Dunstan ('Piranha 3Dd') and Patrick Melton's ('Saw 3D') horror follow-up to the gruesome home invasion thriller 'The Collector' hits theatres today. 'The Collection' opens today and sees Josh Stewart ('The Dark Knight Rises') reliving his nightmares experienced in the first installment and the opening 6 minutes of the movie has premiered online. I'm not sure how I feel about watching the opening minutes of any movie to be honest. I understand why its done but I always want to experience the whole movie from start to finish uninterupted on my own time, not pieces of clips or opening sequences watched out of order and leaving my overactive brain to piece it altogether before I've even sat in my cinema seat. But if you're intrigued enough then head below and check out the clip.

Torture porn is not dead as Paul Moore's Keepsake reminds us. Released on DVD February 21st, this film revitalizes a genre that has almost been forgotten. However, the brutal scenes of dismemberment, plier pulling dentistry, Achille's heel cuttng with sheers, scenes of female humiliation and submission will reduce the enjoyment (hopefully) for most horror fans. The final castration scene is the coup de grâce in a film that makes its gruesome point visually over and over again.

Janine (Sunny La Rose) is the only character given a name in the show and she is also the protagonist and damaged hero. Her car crash at night brings a mute tow truck driver (Robert Pralgo). He has a plan for Janine. After removing a curious cop from the situation, this killer...

Plus, two familiar ‘Vampire Diaries’ faces dropped by. Did you catch them?
Scott (Tyler Posey) and Derek’s (Tyler Hoechlin) search for the Alpha Wolf continued on the June 27 episode of MTV’s Teen Wolf, as did Stiles’ (Dylan O’Brien) whimsical journey of social, and sexual, awkwardness — but I’ll get to him later. The Alpha, who appears to be tracking Jackson (Colton Haynes), also drew the attention of a few nosy hunters, including Allison’s super-hot, pistol-packing Aunt Kate (Jill Wagner.) Werewolves beware…
Kate and her merry band of fur fighters tried to pump Derek for information, but when they realized he has no clue who the Alpha is either, they opened fire. He and his bushy eyebrows managed to escape unscathed, though not before learning a shocking truth: His sister wasn’t killed by the hunters — she was killed by the Alpha!
Ok, now back to Stiles.

I must have watched the 1985 Michael J. Fox version of Teen Wolf dozens of times. It was one of those movies I must have asked my mum to video off the telly to watch with my friend Steven when I was about 10 and would just continue to watch until the video tape wore out! I wasn’t too sure how I felt about a TV series of the movie being announced by MTV a while back but then I heard that director of Splinter & The Grudge 3 (and one of our first ever friends on Twitter, Toby Wilkins) would be co-directing so I jumped on board with the idea.
The TV series stars Linden Ashby, Tyler Hoechlin, Crystal Reed, Tyler Posey, Colton Haynes, Holland Roden, Robert Pralgo, Jr Bourne and Sharon Morris.

When it was first announced that 80's classic werewolf comedy 'Teen Wolf' was being turned into a new TV series for MTV I must admit I wasn't thrilled. But these days there isn't much on TV that isn't vampire or werewolf related so I guess there's a market for it. Which is a bit of luck as they have announced that the show will air on 5 June straight after the MTV Movie Awards. Russell Mulcahey ('Resident Evil: Extinction') has helmed the pilot from a script penned by Jeff Davis. Linden Ashby, Tyler Hoechlin, Crystal Reed, Tyler Posey, Colton Haynes, Holland Roden, Robert Pralgo, Jr Bourne and Sharon Morris are all down as cast members....

We’ve not heard anything about the TV remake of classic Michael J. Fox movie, Teen Wolf for quite a while now but MTV (via our friend Toby Wilkins who directed some of the episodes) have just announced the series will air on June 5th in the Us straight after the MTV Movie Awards.
Adam posted the trailer for the series a while ago which you can see here. The TV series stars Linden Ashby, Tyler Hoechlin, Crystal Reed, Tyler Posey, Colton Haynes, Holland Roden, Robert Pralgo, Jr Bourne and Sharon Morris.

We're still a few days away from the return of The CW's "The Vampire Diaries" from his winter hiatus, but that's not stopping the network from teasing the fans with what they can expect from upcoming episodes. Case in point: Episode 14, "Crying Wolf", which promises even more secrets and lies (as if there haven't been enough already this season!).
Episode 14 "Crying Wolf" Synopsis (2/10/11 Air Date):
Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) get away for what they hope will be a romantic weekend at the Gilbert family lake house, not realizing that they’ve been followed. Jenna (Sara Canning) starts to worry that Alaric (Matt Davis) isn’t being honest with her. Jules (guest star Michaela McManus) explains the importance of the sun and moon curse to Tyler (Michael Trevino) but leaves out an important detail.

The 28-year-old actor famed for portraying Stefan Salvatore on the show will sign autographs, take photos, answer questions and party with attendees at the event held at The Westin Atlanta Airport Hotel. So far, he will be joined by Robert Pralgo, who plays Tyler Lockwood's father Mayor Richard Lockwood.

Assault with a "pimp cup" is still assault. Just ask 'Rock of Love Bus' finalist Brittanya O'Campo.
According to E! Online, O'Campo has been sentenced to six months in jail following an attack on another woman with that they call a "pimp cup." The VH1 star is accused of hitting the woman in the face with her chalice. O'Campo pleaded guilty to felony assault and misdemeanor battery for the altercation that happened in November 2008.
O'Campo sent this message to her fans via Twitter: "I will be locked for 6 Monthes. I can only get PostCards, no letters or packages. If you send books they have to be from Borders.com Softbac" [sic].

"The Vampire Diaries" fandom is one of the most active and enthusiastic we've ever seen at Zap2it, so we're not surprised the fans have mobilized for Eyecon, the very first "Tvd" convention in North America.
Last summer, Australian fans had the chance to meet Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, and Michael Trevino at a convention down under. Now it's time for U.S. fans to have a similar opportunity.
Eyecon will take place in Atlanta, Ga, where the series is filmed, from March 25-27, 2010.
So far, Wesley -- Stefan Salvatore himself -- and Rob Pralgo (the not-so-dearly departed Mayor Lockwood) have confirmed that they'll be attending the event to answer questions, take photos with fans, and sign autographs. They'll even have dinner with a lucky group, and party at the Masquerade Ball. (We're sure you'll recognize them, even in disguise.) Eyecon tells Zap2it that they plan to...

Have a thing for geeks? Better still, have a thing for hot chicks? Well look no further as the new full trailer for the upcoming MTV slasher sequel 'My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 2' has arrived. It airs on MTV on 22 October at 10:00pm. Julianna Guill (below), Kirsten Prout, Stella Maeve, Chris Zylka, Myndy Crist, Robert Pralgo, Lauren McKnight, Matt Angel, Keith Allen Hayes, Gina Rodriguez, Alex Van, Devin Keaton, Reagan Michelle and Jennifer Sun Bell star. Check out the trailer below. It almost seems a little 'wrong' to be seeing smoking hot actress Julianna Guill in a role as a mere 16 year old after only seeing her again recently in the 'Friday the 13th' sequel in all her topless glory! Something we'll unlikely catch a glimpse of in this more watered down slasher flick...

I’d not really heard much about The Joneses before I sat down to watch it. I had a feeling it was going to be one of those movies that you’re desperate to get to the end of but I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be recommended this to friends (and you, the lovely readers of HeyUGuys!).
The Joneses sees David Duchovny and Demi Moore back on the big screen after what I think must be a few years for them both. It also stars Amber Heard, Gary Cole, Ben Hollingsworth, Glenne Headly, Lauren Hutton, Chris Williams, Catherine Dyer, Robert Pralgo, Justin Price, Christine Evangelista and is directed by Derrick Borte.
Synopsis: Perfect couple Steve (Duchovny) and Kate Jones (Moore), and their gorgeous teenage children Jenn (Amber Heard) and Mick (Ben Hollingsworth), are the envy of their posh, suburban neighbourhood filled with mansions and all the trappings of the upper middle class.

That other sexy vampire show is bulking up its cast for its upcoming second season, as former 'Trauma' star Taylor Kinney has joined the 'The Vampire Diaries' in a key role.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Kinney has signed to play Mason Lockwood, the younger brother of Mayor Lockwood (Rob Pralgo), who bit the dust during last season's finale. Kinney will make his first appearance in the CW drama's season 2 premiere, set for Sept. 9.
Mason is described as the easygoing uncle of alpha male Tyler (Michael Trevino). He's a cool, athletic and, of course, sexy figure who can "flip in an instant" if he's crossed.
Mason's return to Mystic Falls will bring up a lot of questions about his estranged family, executive producer Julie Plec told TV Guide in June. Will we finally learn exactly what's so special about the Lockwood clan? Guess we'll find out in September.

Talk about an Omg-worthy season finale.
Even the Vampire Diaries cast members themselves can't believe the shocking twists and the number of people left in jeopardy in Thursday's "Founders Day."
“I think you’re going to be asking, is that person really dead?” said Michael Trevino, whose character Tyler narrowly survived, at the Young Hollywood Awards.
For now it seems as though Anna (Malese Jow) and Mayor Lockwood (Robert Pralgo) are goners. “It doesn’t look too good,” says Candice Accola (Caroline).
As for Caroline's fate? She's suffering from internal bleeding and Accola shares viewers' curiosity. “I really don’t know [what’s going to happen]” she said.
“We have two months of agonizing in frustration to find out what’s happening.” (Click here for our discussion of Caroline's fate and other Round Table topics).
Talk about a Founders Day to remember in Mystic Falls.
One thing that’s definite? The return of Katherine, Stefan and Damon's long-lost love.
