Born in Hollywood, FL, Gillian always knew her calling and followed it. She had a knack for acting, singing, and writing and began performing in community theaters since age 4. Her passion took her to Atlanta, GA, where she attended Oglethorpe University on a full-tuition Georgia Shakespeare scholarship. Four years of studying, rehearsals, internships, and performances later, Gillian earned her bachelors of arts in Theatre and in Communication & Rhetorical Studies. While in school, Gillian interned for People Store Talent Agency in Atlanta and was later signed with them for Commercial and Film & TV representation. Following graduation, Gillian joined a select group from around the country to be the intern class of 2019-2020 at Actor's Express in Atlanta. During her time at the internship, Gillian booked a series regular role on the CW adaptation "Lost Boys." However, both the filming of the series and her theatrical internship came to a halt in March 2020. Since the pandemic, her internship never resumed, but Gillian booked a supporting role in the Lifetime movie "Who's Killing the Cheerleaders?" Gillian will soon be seen opening the 2022 Sundance Film Festival with her supporting role as Bianca in "Emergency," starring RJ Cyler, Donald Elise Watkins, and Sabrina Carpenter. More film roles can be viewed in 2022 with the release of "Evolution of Nate Gibson" and "The Re-Education of Molly Singer." In 2021, Gillian played the titular role in the world-premiere musical, "Darlin' Cory," at the regional Tony-Award winning Alliance Theatre. Darlin Cory was written by Philip DePoy with music & lyrics written by Kristian Bush of Sugarland. Getting to mold and amplify these characters alongside such wonderful and imaginative professionals was the highlight of 2021.
