Shraddha Jaiswal, who was seen in TV shows such as ‘Gustakh Dil’, ‘Shastri Sisters’, and ‘Madhubala’ is all set to enter the fictional drama ‘Sasural Simar Ka 2’, which is a story of two sisters played by Radhika Muthukumar and Tanya Sharma.
Talking about her entry in the role of Lavanya, a naagin (female snake), she said: “My entry is expected to stir the plot and bring big twists to it. Hopefully, the viewers will love my eccentric portrayal of Lavanya.”

‘Bigg Boss 10’ fame Antara Biswas, who is popularly known as Monalisa, recently shared that she will be essaying the role of a sex worker in the anthology ‘Ratri Ke Yatri 2’. The actress also opened up on the challenges that the character entailed.
Talking about the same, she said: “Every role has its own shape, form, and essence. And it becomes even more challenging when you have to step out of your comfort zone to play a certain character. At the same time, it pushes us as an artist to take that extra step where you give your best shot and deliver a performance that justifies the role.”

Popular TV actor Sharad Malhotra is all set to be part of the second season of the anthology series ‘Ratri Ke Yatri’, which includes five different stories set with a common background of the red-light area and its dark reality.
He is playing the character of Manoj, who has to overcome his superstitious beliefs to have a happy love life. Sharad spoke about his character and how superstitious he is in real life: “While I have my own share of beliefs in superstitions, I am not too keen to focus on them and let them be the driver of my life. I do consider things as lucky for me.”
The first part of the anthology series ‘Ratri Ke Yatri’ was released in 2020 and it featured Sudhir Pande, Anju Mahendru, Iqbal Khan, Barkha Sengupta, Parag Tyagi, Avinash Mukherjee, Shiny Doshi, Renee Dhyani, Mansi Srivastava, Reyhna Pandit, and Akashdeep Arora, among others.

TV actress Divya Bhatnagar’s sudden demise has left the TV industry reeling in shock. Many actors took to social media to share their condolences. Avinash Mukherjee, who had worked with Divya in the show Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki, says that it’s tough to believe that she is no more.
“I got the news and it's really disheartening. My condolences to the family. I worked with her in Sanskar for 1.5 years, I remember sitting with her and talking to her about so many things. I cannot believe that she is no more,” he says.
He adds, “It’s unbelievable… May her soul rest in peace and may she continue to smile in a better world.”
Divya was diagnosed with Covid-19 and was admitted to the hospital. She passed away on Monday after she suffered from a cardiac arrest. She also had pneumonia and was put on a ventilator.
“I got the news and it's really disheartening. My condolences to the family. I worked with her in Sanskar for 1.5 years, I remember sitting with her and talking to her about so many things. I cannot believe that she is no more,” he says.
