Cayleigh Capaldi was born in London, England. Born into a show business family, Cayleigh began performing from the time she was 3 years old, singing on stages around the world. She began recording professional vocals at 7 years old, lending her voice to several vocal demos as well as audio content for apps and educational CDs. She has roots in musical theater performance, taking on countless regional theater roles such as Lady Macbeth in "Macbeth," Cinderella in "Into the Woods," Mary Poppins in "Mary Poppins," and Jo March in "Little Women." She began pursuing a career in film and television from the time she was thirteen, and prior to beginning her undergraduate studies in Music and East Asian Studies at Columbia University, she trained in acting and performance at NYU Tisch, AMDA, and AADA. She starred in two 2019 short films, "Why Are You Here?" and "Spare." Later that year, she was featured on HBO's "Mrs. Fletcher" starring Kathryn Hahn. Cayleigh also has extensive experience hosting and presenting for television, as she hosted and starred in the Discovery Channel Europe and China's "Hangzhou Global Tour 2015."
Cayleigh is a dual citizen of the US and the UK, and she speaks fluent Mandarin. She has perfect pitch as well as the ability to sing in whistle tone.
