Ayesha Baumgartner was born in Switzerland and raised in Tokyo Japan. The daughter of Aldo, a chemist and Rita, a painter.
Ayesha's exotic looks derive from her ancestry which is Swiss German and Italian on her father's side, and Indian on her mother's side.
Growing up in Japan, Ayesha modeled professionally at the age of 5 for popular Japanese magazines and was drawn to the only English speaking films at the time Steven Spielberg's Jaws and George Lucas Star Wars, thus began Ayesha's attraction to films. Ayesha credits Robert Redford, for wanting to train and be like the best actors on screen, and was quickly invited to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Ayesha chose to study at AADA in L.A. to eventually end up in Film. Ayesha's interest in the actors craft and method, works of Robert De Niro and Sophia Loren among some of the best, drew Ayesha to attend the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in L.A where Ayesha was seen in several stage productions, which Ayesha says was fulfilling in many ways because of the shared humanity, and electric energy exchange experienced in a theatre. On set on a commercial, Ayesha asked how she could enter the film world and was told to get a Sag card and was sent on set for Super Bowl commercials and was cast as a Dancer on the film Geronimo among her contributions. While continuing her modeling career, Ayesha was cast in an Animation and also contributed her Voice Over talents for many International Productions.
