The matriarch at the center of Lori Fischer's world-premiere play Petie hasn't ventured beyond her Tennessee yard in the decade since her young son's death, an event that continues to bind the remaining family members' lives as surely as the property line bounds hers. Theatre East presents the next installment in its Neighborhood Reading Series upstairs at O'Lunney's, 145 West 45th Street bet. Broadway amp 6th Ave., tonight, May 30th 600 pm is a Mixer with the reading at 700 pm. Dominic Chianese of The Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire stars in Prodigal.
