Autumn Sharif, Clark Carmody, Howard Rose and Lara Lee have all been eliminated from The Voice UK.

The four acts were sent home during tonight's (March 21) live quarter-final.

The four coaches kicked off the results show with a performance, before last year's The Voice UK winner Jermain Jackman sang 'How Will I Know'.

Olly Murs also performed during the first live show of series four.

Sheena McHugh, Emmanuel Nwamadi, Joe Woolford and Vikesh Champaneri made it through to next week's show, alongside Lucy O'Byrne, Karis Thomas, Sasha Simone and Stevie McCrorie.

The Voice UK continues next Saturday for the semi-finals on BBC One.

21:54Smooth-voiced series 3 champ Jermain Jackman is back in the house, sharply attired in Voice UK red. 'How Will I Know' is a solid enough first single - but I think it undersells his talent, which is a bit of a shame.

The Voice UK contestant Emmanuel Nwamadi has topped Digital Spy's reader poll as the favourite act going into the live shows.

The soul singer received 19.63% of the reader's votes.

Fellow Team Ricky act Stevie McCrorie is second favourite with 15.15% and third was Vikesh Champaneri with 12.68% of the votes.

Nwamadi was pleased to hear he was Digital Spy reader's favourite contestant so far.

He said: "Oh my goodness! Tell them 'thank you'. Thank them so much! That means a lot to hear, wow! I don't know what to say. It's so cool!"

Team Ricky consists of Autumn Sharif as well as Nwamadi and McCrorie, while Team Rita will see Clark Carmody, Joe Woolford and Karis Thomas fighting.

On Team Tom, Howard Rose, Lara Lee and Sasha Simone will be battling, while Team Will is represented by Lucy O'Byrne, Sheena McHugh and Vikesh Champaneri.

The Voice UK Live Shows begin tonight (March 21) at 7.15pm on BBC One.

We've had the blind auditions. We've had the battles. We've had the knockouts. And it's all been leading up to the live shows on The Voice UK... which start next weekend!

The knockouts finished this weekend and we now have our lineup for those all important live broadcasts - Team Ricky conists of Autumn Sharif, Emmanuel Nwamadi and Stevie McCrorie, while Team Rita will see Clark Carmody, Joe Woolford and Karis Thomas fighting.

Over on Team Tom, it's all about Howard Rose, Lara Lee and Sasha Simone, while Team Will is represented by Lucy O'Byrne, Sheena McHugh and Vikesh Champaneri. The Voice UK coaches Ricky Wilson and Sir Tom Jones have picked their teams for the upcoming live shows.

The duo each had to cut back their teams from eight acts to three in tonight's Knockouts episode, as the hopefuls all performed a song of their choice to convince their coaches to keep them in the competition.

Emmanuel Nwamadi, Stevie McCrorie and Autumn Sharif won places in the live shows on Team Ricky, while Sir Tom chose to carry on with Sasha Simone, Lara Lee and Howard Rose.

Nwamadi was speechless when Wilson chose him after his performance of Otis Redding's 'I've Been Loving You Too Long', while a shocked McCrorie - who impressed with his take on 'Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' - dropped to his knees with joy, but was later picked up by his friend in celebration.

We've had the blinds. We've had the battles. And now the contestants who are still standing on The Voice UK face the knockouts! Yes, over a double bill this weekend - there's an episode on Saturday and on Sunday - they'll each choose a "killer song" to try to make it into the live shows.

There were only two steals left going into tonight's round of battles on The Voice UK, so it was always going to be a bit dramatic, right? Sure enough, the 12 remaining battle pairings pulled no punches as they took to the ring to persuade their coaches to put them through to the knockouts.

So without further ado, here are all the details of tonight's action - who made it, who didn't, and who grabbed those final two steals from Will and Rita...

What you need to know: Claudia was once in a girl band that won Cork's Got Talent! Sir Tom battled hard with Ricky to win her and eventually did when he described her as a "powerhouse".

We're getting down to the wire on The Voice UK tonight, with those teams looking mighty full. With just one week left of blind auditions after tonight, it is seriously tense in those coaches' chairs...

Sure, there was time for them to have a little fun - we're looking at you, the sequence of Sir Tom Jones saying "yeah" repeatedly (which we loved, obviously) - but they also had to get serious. So congratulations are in order for the six acts that made it through tonight - here's what we made of them...

Sheena's not exactly had an easy time of it - she lost her voice for six months after a dreadful car accident in which she ruptured her spleen, tore her intestine, broke her back... I mean, wow. As if that wasn't emotional enough,...

There are only two weeks left of blind auditions, so it's going to take someone pretty special to get those coaches to turn around - they're running out of space on their teams pretty quickly, after all...

However, Ms. Davis is not just about history and glamour, her work is thoughtful, detailed and appropriate to tone.
