Jason Deline is a Canadian actor, voice artist, voice coach, comedian, and director with a career spanning animation, film, television, and commercial work. His journey began in high school with musical theater, where he was the youngest cast member in his production of Little Shop of Horrors. This early experience led to a role in the Canadian teen series Ready or Not (1997). He later pursued radio broadcasting, gaining experience in voice-over and commercial work.
Jason began voicing Drago, the Dragonoid, in the Bakugan franchise starting with Bakugan Battle Brawlers (2007). He voiced Drago in various iterations of the series for over 15 years, retiring from the role after Bakugan: Evolutions (2022).
Jason also voiced two of the main characters in the animated series Chop Chop Ninja (2018), based on the mobile game series by Gamerizon. He voiced Neeko, the energetic ninja, and Tetsuo, the disciplined cat warrior.
In 2023, Jason received a Leo Award nomination for Best Performance in an Animation Series for his role as a mob dog in Saving Me.
Jason's voice can be heard in several animated series, including Beyblade: Metal Saga (2009-2013) as Benkei, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (2017) as Bow Hothoof, and various roles in Arthur (2010-2012). He has also voiced hundreds of commercials for brands like Dodge Ram, Subaru, Coke, Tim Hortons, and Mitsubishi.
Jason's comedic career includes work in musical theater, improv, sketch comedy, and radio plays. He co-founded the sketch comedy troupe Radio Vault, which performed at the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival. He also co-founded the Comedy Album Book Club podcast, analyzing legendary stand-up albums.
Jason mentors aspiring voice actors through his Find Your Voice workshops and developed Voice-over for Improvisers at The Second City Toronto.
Jason has appeared in films like X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) and The Walk (2015), and television series such as Arrow (2015), Star Trek: Discovery (2017), The Night Agent (2023), and Dead Boy Detectives (2024). His involvement in the Star Trek universe has led to invitations to various conventions and honorary membership in the Klingon community.
As a director, Jason has worked on voice directing countless commercials and the animated project Crack-Duck (2014).
