- Isaiah Rahsaan Hill was born on October 2nd, 2002, in Harlem New York. At a young age, Hill gained a behind-the-scenes look at the entertainment industry through his Grammy Award-winning artist aunt, Lauryn Hill. At the age of five years old, Hill's mother, Felicia adamantly pushed Isaiah to get a film and modeling agent to begin to pursue a career. Hill's first acting job was filming an episode and theme song for the popular kids show "Sesame Street." This created more opportunities for Hill as he modeled for some of the top brands like Children's Place, Coca-Cola, and Essence.
At age thirteen, Hill was a versatile athlete playing soccer, basketball, and football. At sixteen years old, Hill thrived at basketball and became recognized as one of the top 100 guards in the country, earning two division-one offers. The same year Hill's mother convinced him to get a job. So Hill returned to his childhood passion and began to pursue his career in the entertainment industry.
In January 2019, Hill was notified by social media about an opportunity to audition to be in Reggie Bythewood and Kevin Durant's sports drama Swagger on Apple TV. The casting director immediately connected the dots with Hill and his basketball short films. Isaiah produced short films with his strategic film partner Lewis Carter Rice, displaying his lifestyle and basketball playing. The basketball short films caught the eyes of basketball fans across the nation. After auditioning the last time he landed the lead role in Kevin Durant's TV show Swagger portraying Kevin Durant as a young phenomenon before he made it to the NBA. After living in what appeared to be a dream his passion for telling sports-related films grew so much that he began writing his own sports drama, realistic fiction, and science fiction stories. In Hill's debut on screen, Swagger went on to earn great ratings and reviews on notable platforms and win the African-American Film Critiques Award for the best ensemble cast.
Hill was blessed with an opportunity, to form a relationship with NBA superstar Kevin Durant the producer of Apple TV. While filming the drama series he learned the step it takes to portray a character and the business side of producing a basketball series. Naturally, Hill grew a love for not only acting but working behind the scenes as well. Hill began to pick the brains of people like O'Shea Jackson, the son of Ice Cube. His industry peers all encouraged Isaiah to follow his dream and so in 2020, he took his colleague's advice and started his own production company 'Over the Hill Productions solidifying his passion for storytelling.
Isaiah plans to make an impact on Hollywood that will last for centuries. He plans to tell authentic, inspiring stories, all while giving young black men more opportunities in the film industry just like him.
