Cherrel Bergen

Cherrel Bergen, previously credited as Cherrel Holder, now married to Joshua Lee Bergen, is an emerging Canadian actress. She was born in Trinidad and moved to Canada at the age of eleven with her single mother Junette Holder, older sister Cherryl-lyn Holder and twin sister Chanelle Holder. At the age of twelve Cherrel was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease called Alopecia Areata, which caused large bald spots on her head. Despite her hair loss, Cherrel had a growing passion for being on stage and in front of a camera. This led her to pursue a career in theatre and dance. While continuing her career in Sydney Australia, an encounter with a film producer in the mall caused Cherrel to make the switch from stage to film. Cherrel has recently completed her first lead role in the sci-fi feature film Finality of Dusk.
