Jonathan Soronen was born in Livonia, Michigan and began his acting
career at an early age. He was always a goofball growing up, but dove
into the talent world when he turned 10. First, starting out by
participating in pageants with his older sister, Jennifer, he showed
off some of his singing like a nun talents. His sister then suggested
that he try out the acting world due to his wacky behavior. Jonathan
then began doing commercials and print work in the state of Michigan,
but it wouldn't last as long as he had hoped. Michigan wasn't booming
with the entertainment industry and jobs were hard to come by. After
many years, Jonathan decided to stick through high school and think
about it later. He made sure that he auditioned for and acted in every
theatre project in high school as well as at other community theatres
around.
After high school and some college, Jonathan found himself wanting to dive back into the acting world, first by doing extra work on Dawson's Creek. He had such a great time and fell in love with the city of Wilmington, that he decided to move there. Upon his arrival, he found himself auditioning for the agency Actors & Entertainers and having them become his North Carolina agent. He then went on to audition for different projects, landing his first on the Volkswagen Micro Bus done by Matt Mosher of AMVF. That was just the start for Jonathan. Within the next two years, he auditioned for films and commercials quite often. Landing roles in _Pink House, The (2003), The New Detectives (2002), Another Day at the Office (2003), A Missed Opportunity (2002), and Trigger (2003). Those were just a few of the works that Jonathan found himself doing. He currently has been writing for the Television show, Life In General that he will also star in for Kearns Entertainment. He is also in the process of getting his Reel out to those interested in his acting ability. Jonathan will keep working until he makes it to the top.
