Tony Dale(I)

Tony anchored the weather for NewsChannel 7 DayBreak and NewsChannel 7 at Noon, and also provided weather cut-ins during CBS This Morning. Dale had been with NewsChannel 7 since September of 1992, and had covered countless hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and other major weather events for the upstate. Tony began his meteorological career in 1978 at KENS-TV in San Antonio, Texas. His meteorological background includes membership to the National Weather Association. He is also an original member of the upstate chapter for the American Meteorological Society. Tony has had a varied career as an actor, talk show host and feature reporter. His credits include playing a series regular on the soap opera, Capitol. Dale also worked in New Zealand as the co-host of a TV talk show and other TV appearances. In his free time, Tony enjoys playing guitar and singing throughout the region. He has released his first CD of his music. Tony's other hobbies include boxing, martial arts, and writing. Tony and his wife, Tracey from New Zealand, have a daughter Alexia, born in 1992.

Tony has since left WSPA TV to pursue other interests.
