James Robertovich Martin grew up near Newell, Iowa, USA. He attended Newell-Providence high school, Iowa State University, the Univ. of Iowa, Michigan State Univ., and the Institute of Steel and Alloys in Moscow, Russia.
He has appeared in movies produced by Amomedia and Dramatize Me in Kyiv, Ukraine beginning in November 2020. He made his last movie two days before Russia invaded in February 2022.
From Ukraine, he evacuated to Malta where he now resides.
