Former pop star and pin-up Samantha Fox is to join the stars of Harry Potter, Primeval, Doctor Who and James Bond at the upcoming McM Birmingham Comic Con & Memorabilia on March 16 and 17.

The Comic Con and Memorabilia events are held side by side at the NEC, Birmingham. Comic Con visitors get into Memorabilia free of charge. Children under 10 get in free if accompanied by a paying adult.

Listed below are some of the star guests lined up for the shows.

Potter Personalities: Chris Rankin, who plays Percy Weasley in six of the blockbuster Harry Potter films, Steffan Rhodri, who was Reg Cattermole in Deathly Hallows and Hugh Mitchell, who appears as Gryffindor student Colin Creevey in The Order Of The Phoenix. Steffan is also famous for playing Dave in hit comedy Gavin & Stacey, and recently won plaudits as the voice of Drippy in acclaimed video game Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch.

Starz has picked up a dense and confusing 10-episode drama series based on Philippa Gregory’s The Cousins War trilogy: The White Queen, The Red Queen and The Kingmaker’s Daughter. The new series, which will be called The White Queen, is being executive produced by former HBO Films president Colin Callender, thanks to a two year deal with his company, Playground. Part of the deal will see him as executive producer on Magic City’s second season. Callender will be working once again with former HBO boss Chris Albrecht, now the CEO of Starz, and Carmi Zlotnik. Rupert Penry-Jones and Endeavour star Shaun Evans will lead the cast of ITV1's new suspense thriller The Last Weekend. The series is a Mick Ford (Single Father, Ashes to Ashes) adaptation of Blake Morrison's best-selling book.

Opening October 21 OnDemand, through IFC Festival Direct is Jon Wright UK thriller Tormented, which is described as "Gossip Girl" meets Scream. Beyond the break you'll find our first look at IFC's trailer for the flick that follows a pack of popular kids who torment a nerd so badly that he hangs himself.. and come back to wreak gory vengeance! Sounds like good ol' 80's fun to me.
