Shirley Corbin

Shirley Corbin is Texas-based actress appearing on both stage and in film throughout the US. In addition, she has played Minister Lightfoot in the RHEMA Gospel Hill Soap Opera, airing every Thursday night on 101.5 FM Radio.
Shirley attended Crafton Hills College in Yucaipa, California where she earned an Associate of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology. While working in the field, she joined the Friendship Church where she sang Soprano in the Choir and frequently acted the church's theater troupe. She performed in a number of gospel plays and developed a growing love for acting, finally pursuing her dream of appearing on film 2006.
Shirley moved to Texas where she continued taking acting classes to hone her skills at Lone Star College in Houston, Texas. It was during this time when she discovered Actors, Models, and Talent For Christ (AMTC). She enrolled in this intense training program and continued to sharpen her acting chops. During this time she traveled to Dallas on weekends for diverse training led by industry professionals, and at culmination of the training, she signed with an agent and immediately began the process of auditioning and booking.
She is a dedicated worker and loves to volunteer her time and talent at the North Harris Rehabilitation Center, helping those who are in need of love and care. God has gifted her in the area of acting and has led her to SHINE for her Lord throughout the world.
