Jon Crystal holds a Master of Fine Arts in Producing from the University of Southern California's Peter Stark Film Producing Program and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in film from the State University of New York at Purchase College, where he was instrumental in initiating the cinematography track of study.
After working as an I.A.T.S.E. Local 600 camera assistant for ten years, Mr. Crystal formed his own production company, Crystal Vision Film Productions, Inc., employing a diversified team of qualified crew members to produce and direct music videos for independent record labels and many documentaries and short films.
After graduating from U.S.C., Mr. Crystal shifted his company's focus from physical production to story development, which continues to be the company's focus.
