Sean Benum was born on May 25, 1999 in Los Angeles, California. Bitten by the arts bug at an early age and given a "classical education" in theater, film, and television by his mother (television writer Sheryl J. Anderson), Sean has been immersed in the industry his entire life. Jumping on every opportunity to act in school and church productions, Sean cut his teeth on high school productions such as Mary Zimmerman's "Metamorphoses" and Tom Stoppard's "Arcadia" before earning his BFA in Acting for the Stage and Screen from Azusa Pacific University. Sean is known for his work in Campy Spy Musical (2019) and Netflix's Sweet Magnolias (2020), as well as being an inaugural actor and writer in the Darling Comedy (2019) troupe.
