Alice Parizeau was born on 25 July 1927 in Luniniec, Brest, Poland (now Bielorussia). She was married to Jacques Parizeau. She died on 30 September 1990 in Outremont, Québec, Canada.
Criminologist, journalist and author., her mother was a concert pianist and her father an industrialist. Résistante, she was interned at Bergen-Belsen and was decorated after WWII for her actions.
