Stephen McAteer is a BAFTA winning writer, producer and show runner known for Casualty (1986), Byker Grove (1989), where he was series producer and show runner on 2 series, and Father Brown (2013). Stephen wrote the 2022 Rose D'Or winning Casualty episode Wednesday's Child, co-written with Hilary Frankland, and the BAFTA and Royal Television Society Award Casualty episode The Thin Green Line. Stephen has also created and developed drama series for ITV, Gaumont, Red Arrow Studios, Mad Rabbit and AMC.
