Bobby Friedman is a Brooklyn-based film director who specializes in comedy and music. In 2023, he released a six-episode comedy series entitled "Under Cover Comic" on Tubi, Amazon Prime and FuboTV. In 2020 and again in 2024, Bobby wrote, produced and directed visual albums for Grammy award nominated singer-songwriter Tayla Parx and Atlantic Records. In addition to writing and filmmaking, Bobby Friedman has performed as a jazz band-leader at venues in Greenwich Village and written for various sports journalism outlets.
His literary work has received accolades in dozens of film festivals internationally, including Oscar-qualifying Rhode Island Flickers Film Festival, the Finish Line Script competition, as well as Oaxaca Film Festival, which has been named by MovieMaker as one of the top 25 festivals in the world.
