John C. Martin(II)

John C Martin grew up on Long Island, NY and is an alumnus of Sachem High. John, an accomplished Fine Artist, opted out of furthering his art studies at Cooper Union in Manhattan to instead pursue a music career, eventually moving to Nashville, TN. John became an accomplished singer for several Rock bands in the 80's and 90's before ultimately finding a home in Charlotte, NC. where he shifted his focus on the Real Estate industry. After having enjoyed a successful Real Estate brokerage career for many years, John made the decision to get back to his true passion, performing. He began work in film in 2015 and is currently honing his craft under the advanced tutelage of Linda Ann Watt of 'Charlotte Acting' and Burgess Jenkins at the 'Actor's Group' in Winston-Salem, NC. John has appeared in several indie feature projects, short films, television commercials and was most recently honored with the Best Actor in a Lead Award at the 2021 Knoxville Film Festival (for the second consecutive year). In 2023, John completed his first solo production with the psychological horror film 'DUEL', which is currently on the festival circuit. In addition to acting, John enjoys riding his Ducati, martial arts competition, weight training, painting, reading and boating. John also holds a Black Belt in Tang Soo Do Karate he received from renowned GrandMaster D.A. Giacobbe.
