The daughter of one of Jeffrey Dahmer’s victims has shared her regret after watching the Netflix show Monster about the serial killer.
Errol Lindsey was 19 years old when he was killed by Dahmer on 7 April 1991.
He was survived by five siblings and a partner who was pregnant at the time of his death.
The daughter of Mr Lindsey, 31-year-old Tatiana Banks, told Insider that “honestly ever since that show’s been on I haven’t been able to sleep”.
“I see Jeffrey Dahmer in my sleep,” she said of her nightmares that have lasted weeks.
Ms Banks, of Arizona, was born six months after the death of her father. She said she watched one episode of the show, which she called “heartbreaking”.
The episode she watched included her aunt Rita Isbell giving a victim impact statement during the sentencing hearing for Dahmer.

Serial killer Ted Bundy continues to fascinate the American public even decades after his execution. The latest demonstration of that comes with the popular success of the Netflix docuseries Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Joe Berlinger. The four-part series is now contending for Emmy nominations.
It’s by no means the first documentary examination of Bundy’s string of brutal sex crimes in the 1970s, a fact not lost on Berlinger.
“The bar is awfully high to do something on Bundy, because it’s a well-worn tire,” the director recalls thinking when he was first approached with the documentary idea. The pitch came from Stephen Michaud, co-author of the book Ted Bundy: Conversations with a Killer, who had recorded hours of interviews with Bundy in the 1980s while the convicted murderer sat on Florida’s death row. Hearing the audio convinced Berlinger to move forward.

Lily Collins believes she was visited by the ghosts of Ted Bundy‘s victims — but the actress “didn’t feel scared.”
The Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile star, 30, opened up about her supernatural experience in an interview with The Guardian saying she’d wake up every night at 3:05 a.m. while preparing for the role of Bundy’s ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer.
“I would go downstairs and have a cup of tea, trying to figure out why I had woken up again,” Collins said. “I started being woken up by flashes of images, like the aftermath of a struggle.

When we think about the horrific crimes of Ted Bundy, we tend to think about them in the most extreme terms possible. After all, this is a man whose crimes were described by the judge presiding over his final trial as "extremely wicked, shockingly evil, and vile". But as is so often the case with high-profile, incredibly salacious crime stories, the thing that finally tripped up Bundy wasn't one of his gruesome crimes - it was a car.
By the time Bundy was captured for the final time, he had already been arrested and imprisoned once. In 1976, he was convicted of the kidnapping and assault of Utah telephone operator Carol DaRonch and was imprisoned in Utah before being extradited to Colorado to stand trial for another suspected crime. While in jail in Glenwood Springs, Co, Bundy assembled an escape plan. Slowly but carefully, he created a hole in the jail's ceiling,...

When Netflix and Joe Berlinger’s Ted Bundy drama, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile, hits the streaming service and select theaters later this year, it’ll be rated R for “disturbing/violent content, some sexuality, nudity and language.”
That’s the official word from the MPAA (h/t Film Ratings), confirming that Berlinger and Netflix have no intention of shying away from the grisly details of Bundy’s notorious offenses. Of course, the streaming platform is overly familiar with the infamous serial killer, having recently launched the four-part documentary series, Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes.
The big difference this time around is that, while Berlinger and Netflix are both involved, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile is a narrative account of Bundy’s crimes with Zac Efron in the title role. And, if nothing else, he certainly looks the part.
