Festival will reel out future films
The San Sebastian International Film Festival and the Toulouse Rencontres Cinemas Amerique Latine have announced the five films that will screen in the third session of the Films in Progress forum. The unfinished films will unspool March 27-28 at the Cervantes Institute in Toulouse, France, as part of the 15th Recontres Cinemas d'Amerique Latine. The independent Argentine productions tapped for the program are Celina Murga's "Ana y los otros", Daniel Burak's "Bar El Chino", Fernan Rudnik's "Pueblo chico", Esteban Menis' "El transcurso de las cosas" and Alejandro Malowicki's "Pyme (Sitiados)." In addition, two features presented at last year's Films in Progress will screen during the forum -- "Siete dias, siete noches", directed by Joel Cano (Cuba) and "Capital Rancho", directed by Gabriel Bertini (Argentina).
