Sarah Schoonmaker is a bilingual (English & Spanish) actress. She attended the NYU - Tisch School of the Arts where she received a BFA in Acting. During her time at Tisch, she studied at numerous studios, immersing herself into a variety of different acting styles/techniques. Sarah began her primary training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, where she gained a strong foundation in acting. She then dove into the art of Chekhovian theatre, at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Shortly after, Sarah was accepted into an advanced training conservatory called the Classical Studio, where she fully immersed herself into Shakespearean performance. Finally, Sarah completed her training at Stonestreet Studios for Film and Television.
Upon graduating, Sarah has acted in several professional film, television, and commercial sets - including; Bull on CBS, as well as a commercial for B&H. Most recently, she starred in a VR Film called Come Into Me, directed by Aleszea Blanche Germann, which premiered at the Berlinale Film Festival in Germany, and made an appearance at Sundance.
