Ava McLean(I)

Elliott (Ava) Jaymes McLean was born as Ava Jaymes McLean to make-up artist and hairstylist Rochelle and Backstreet Boys member A.J. McLean in Los Angeles, California. She later became a sister to little Lyric, who is four years and three months younger than her. She is the fourth child of all the children of the Backstreet Boys. She is the first and oldest girl and daughter of the Backstreet Babies. She has Hispanic descent by both parents, meaning she is Mexi-Cuban (Mexican and Cuban), but also Italian and Greek from her mother and German, Scottish, Irish, and English from her father, even Iberian, Central and South American, North, West and East European, North African, Nigerian, Ashkenazi Jewish, and Middle Eastern through him.

In late 2022, McLean decided to change her name to "Elliott" since there were too many girls named Ava in her school and dance lessons, and Rochelle claimed that "Elliott" is just a name she prefers.

When she is not dancing, she enjoyed the basic childhood experience such as father-daughter dates, attending concerts, visiting Disneyland, and going to school to have the whole school experience her mother had but her father missed out on, such as attending school functions, father-daughter dances, and spending quality time with her friends.

She first appeared in God, Your Mama and Me when she was four years old with her mom, who was pregnant with Lyric then. Then she began acting for the first time in her dad's music video, Night Visions, at age five before appearing again in No Place when she was six and baby Lyric was 1.

On November 30, she is set to appear in A Very Backstreet Holiday, which was scheduled for December 14, 2022, with her family and the rest of the Backstreet families.

On September 19, she and her sister got their first-holiday ad campaign for The Children's Place with their dad, *NSYNC's Joey Fatone and his daughter, Lance Bass and his children, and Boys II Men's Wayna Morris and his baby girl.

Her maternal family includes her maternal grandmother, "Gma," her maternal grandfather, Perry Kardis Sr., two uncles, Perry Jr. and Andre, and one aunt, Priscilla.
