Annie Young Frisbie is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, she graduated from St. Paul's School
for Girls. She earned her BA at Franklin and Marshall College in
theater and American Studies, and her MA in Cinema Studies from New
York University.
She served as the Senior Editor for Zoom In Online. In 2005, she photo edited The Art of the Documentary, featuring interviews with such filmmakers as Ken Burns,Albert Maysles, and Errol Morris.
Frisbie served as an Adjunct Instructor of Screenwriting at Messiah College, a liberal arts college in central PA from 2002-2005. She has been on the nominating committee for the IFP Market Awards since 2000, and served as the 2004 IFP Market Awards Coordinator. She is a member of the Writers Guild of America, East.
She is a member of the Writers Guild of America, East, a La Leche League Leader, and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She resides in Queens, NYC with husband John Frisbie and their two daughters.
