Freelancing as a director and artist known as Newproject media, working in production concept design, directing, story boarding, animatics, writing, filming, photography, illustration, graphic design, painting, animation and post production editing, compositing, motion graphics and special effects.
Part of branding teams behind huge names such as Heineken and Wavescape, during my time at Juju Animation South Africa and Digital Dreams in Hong Kong.
When Based in London & Working at the Tate Gallery, selected as a finalist for the Ridley Scott MPC award for story writing and story boarding.
In Australia have filmed and photographed some of Australia's Favourite musicians (Tania Doko, JD Smith, Ten Tenors and Rocco Bene).
Archibald entry "Silence is Golden" portrayed the very humble and 'unheard' Australian sound-engineer for Mad Max. This entry won the Tap Gallery 'Peoples Choice Award' In 2016 for my Portrait of Oscar award winning sound engineer, Ben Osmo in the Salon des refuses 2016 exhibition.
Working at Juju - Cape Town, involved in creating several TV ads working in motion graphics, illustration and animation. I was also involved in creating motion graphics, rotoscoping, editing and special effects for various projects. Working at Digital Dreams - Hong Kong, I was writing for children TV animations, creating new episode animatics, storyboards, concepts, scripts and also had the opportunity to create new concepts for a 2D animation TV series.
Working in Sydney, working with Record labels - Booshu Records and Platinum Artists Development, directly with musician clients. Responsible for creating projects from pre to post production & creating the concept for the project & execution - filming, shooting, editing, and post production editing, special effects, illustration, animation and graphic design. These projects included photo shoots to build a brand for the artists, music videos, lyric videos, short video promos, multi media graphics for advertising, album cover art, logos and 2D animations. Currently freelancing for Morning Starr Productions working on motion graphics and editing for an upcoming TV series.
